Just before the pies, cakes and cookies [aka Holidays] is the perfect time to join the gym. No joking. Why? Because you can boost your metabolism and keep it going throughout the plates of holiday treats.
Yes you can out-eat your workout so let’s plan to succeed.
The goal isn’t to excercise so you can eat more. Nope. The goal is to boost and maintain your metabolism. I’m referring to your bodies ability to break stuff down and turn it into energy. The type of energy that will help you maintain vitality and wellness through the stress that often comes with the holidays.
3. Classes are the best way to become familiar to the space. You don’t have to talk to anyone until you feel comfortable and meanwhile you’ll get a great workout. (I’m a Zumba instructor and of course I would suggest Zumba)
